Shrimp Ceviche with Drops of MESIMERI

Shrimp ceviche with avocado sauce, fresh herbs, lime, finely chopped cucumber, and extra virgin olive oil MESIMERI

INGREDIENTS:

  • Extra virgin olive oil MESIMERI
  • 1 Gambari shrimp from Messinia
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 20g ginger
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Clean the shrimp and cut them into small pieces.
  • Marinate them with ginger, lime zest, lime juice, chili pepper, cilantro, and drops of MESIMERI.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  • In a container, combine cucumber, avocado, lime juice, and garlic.
  • Add salt, pepper, MESIMERI EVOO, and blend until smooth.
  • Pass the mixture through a sieve to achieve a nice and smooth avocado cream.
  • Place the avocado cream on a plate and arrange the marinated shrimp in the center.
  • Add drops of MESIMERI EVOO on top.
