Maniatiki Tsouhti with Papardelles

Maniatiki “Tsouchti” under the Shade of MESIMERI

Smoked papadums with butter, traditional Mizithra cheese, Kalamata olives, fried egg, and extra virgin olive oil MESIMERI.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil MESIMERI
  • 1/2 Papardelle pasta
  • 20g butter
  • 20g fresh thyme
  • 1 egg
  • 5 olives
  • 50g myzithra cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Boil the papardelle pasta for 7 minutes.
  • In a pan, melt the butter with a little water.
  • Once it starts sizzling, add the myzithra cheese and cook until golden.
  • Add the cooked papardelle pasta, thyme, and gradually mix in some of the water from the pasta.
  • Serve on a plate and top with a poached egg, MESIMERI EVOO, and olives.
